research
My research falls under the category of Network Security and Android Systems Security.
In Network Security, I study the existing vulnerabilities in SDN architecture and work on improving SDN security by developing SDN defenses. Moreover, I am working on the developement of a vulnerability-resilience rating framework for SDN to give a reliable back bone to this critical technology.
In Android Systems Security, I mainly reverse engineer apps to look for vulnerabilities that come from the network infrastructure itself. For this purpose, I study Android apps that are speculated to be used for targeted attacks. These attacks are usually intended for at-risk populations (such as journalists and activists).
